We should trust the Kansas City Chiefs with the Tyreek Hill pick.

For over a month now since the finale of the 2016 NFL Draft, the hot topic out of Kansas City has been the fifth-round selection of Tyreek Hill from West Alabama.

In more ways than one, Hill has made a name for himself over the last couple of years. Once a dynamo in the return game at Oklahoma State that included 1,811 all-purpose yards as a Junior, the former Cowboy was charged with domestic assault and battery against his pregnant girlfriend.

Hill would go on to plead guilty and was eventually sentenced to three years of probation. He resumed his playing career at West Alabama last fall. Chances are when you turned on your TV to view the Chiefs 165th-overall pick in the fifth round, you had no clue who Hill was. And when the analysts gave their spiel about what this kid was about, you probably did not like what you heard. I can promise you were not alone.

Recently, the last few weeks have featured more positive news regarding Hill, focusing mostly on what he can do on a football field. When first arriving in KC, Hill made it clear to the media he was looking to put the past behind him and become a better man.
