Morse is one of the guys we should all be watching. He came into the National Football league as a second-round draft pick out of the University of Missouri, and most believed he was a reach by general manager John Dorsey.

As it turns out, Dorsey made the right move. Morse was immediately the starter at center and played brilliantly, and that is not an overstatement. Morse is easily the best center this team has had since Casey Weigmann and should only get better from here.

However, he does have some things working against him. Morse does not have a ton of support on either side of him with a trio of young guards in Parker Ehinger, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif and Zach Fulton. The only veteran option is Jah Reid, who shiould be locking down one of the spots based on his play at the end of last year.

Regardless, Morse is a great candidate to get on the national radar (as much as offensive linemen possibly can). He’s athletic and that trait plays well in Reid’s offense, which relies heavily on screens, traps and runs to the boundaries.
