What has changed: Denver obviously has a different look under center. The Broncos watched Peyton Manning ride off into the sunset and then, fairly shockingly, saw Brock Osweiler go to the Houston Texans on a four-year, $72 million deal. With those quarterbacks gone, general manager John Elway decided to go with Mark Sanchez and a potential rookie as his signal-callers, hoping for the best.

It’s a risky move for Denver, which is also hurt by the loss of tight end Owen Daniels and guard Evan Mathis. The Broncos look significantly different on offense and did not upgrade anywhere, unless you love Donald Stephenson.

Should they scare you?: The Broncos have to be respected because they won the Super Bowl last year, but this is a group with some obvious flaws. The Chiefs should have beaten Denver twice last year and did paste them in the Mile High City. There is no reason to believe that Kansas City – provided it is healthy – doesn’t take care of business at Arrowhead against a team with absolutely no offense.

The Chiefs are the better team at this juncture and should be taking down Gary Kubiak and Co. without a ton of issues.

Prediction: 23-10, Chiefs
