Tennessee Titans (home)

Date: Dec. 18
Time: Noon
Channel: CBS

What has changed: Tennessee is clearly a team building for the future, but it added an intriguing now-piece in running back DeMarco Murray, acquiring the former All-Pro for a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Murray will give Tennessee some punch coming out of the backfield, and should take the pressure off second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota to an extent.

The Titans didn’t do much else of note. Tennessee seems content to continue building slowly while head coach Mike Mularkey takes over for his first full seasons with the Titans as head coach. Mularkey has his hands full with a young and fairly mediocre roster.

Should they scare you?: Tennessee beat the Chiefs in the 2014 season-opener so from that standpoint, yes. From a realistic one? No. This should be the easiest game that Kansas City plays the entire season. Tennessee has all kinds of problems in coverage and offensively, has no real weapon to speak of outside of a decent tight end in Delanie Walker and Murray.

Kansas City should be able to dominate this game on both sides of the ball without much issue, especially in the comfy confines of Arrowhead Stadium.

Prediction: 27-13, Chiefs
