With two weeks until the 2016 NFL Draft, we continue to look at potential draft prospects for the Kansas City Chiefs. Two weeks ago, I did a piece on why Kansas City should consider drafting a QB in the first round, while last week I decided to analyze some of the best draft picks of the John Dorsey era in Kansas City so far.

This week, it’s time to evaluate if Kansas City should take a chance on one of the most fascinating prospects in this year’s draft class in Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Braxton Miller.

He appears to be one of the biggest boom or bust prospects in this year’s class. Miller could be a steal because of his athleticism and if he continues to blossom into an even better wideout in the NFL, but he could easily be a bust if he lets his inexperience become an issue against opposing defenses and defensive backs that he will face early in his career.

If one thing is for sure, its that the Chiefs could use another play-making wideout and another offensive weapon at Alex Smith’s disposal. In today’s NFL, an offense can never have too many weapons on offense, and since his time in Kansas City, general manager John Dorsey has done a solid job of accumulating a variety of different offensive weapons.

This list includes Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce, star wide receiver Jeremy Maclin and the speedy second-year man De’Anthony Thomas as well. By adding Miller to the mix, KC could potentially have yet another option that opposing defenses would have to account for any time that he sees action on the field.
