There seems to be a few prospects that could fit what the Chiefs are looking for when they come to the fore with the 28th-overall selection on April 28. This class appears to be very deep in some spots, and the offensive line is one of them. Most believe Laremy Tunsil of Ole Miss will be gone in the first three picks, followed shortly by Ronnie Stanley out of Notre Dame.

However, Kansas City might be able to snag Jack Conklin of Michigan State. He’s currently projected to be a mid first-round pick, but we all know how those things go. Conklin would be able to fill the right tackle spot and give Kansas City bookends with Eric Fisher capably holding down the left side.

The Chiefs have been trying to get the offensive line right ever since Dorsey came into the picture three years ago. He has a track record of letting people walk out the door at this position in the past, including Branden Albert, Geoff Schwartz, Jon Asamoah and Rodney Hudson. However, the line finally appears to be set from the left side to center with Fisher, Ben Grubbs and Mitch Morse. The issue is at right tackle, where Jah Reid and Donald Stephenson don’t exactly fit the bill.
