Week 14 – Chiefs vs. Chargers

The Chargers will put up a fight because Phillip Rivers is on record setting pace but this will be another loss and another reason to move to Los Angeles.

Chiefs 38, Chargers 24

Other key matchups: BUF@PHI, PIT@CIN, OAK@DEN, TEN@NYJ

The Chiefs make up some serious ground this week as most other teams have difficult opponents. Buffalo may be able to make Sam Bradford look bad but Chip Kelly will finally start to run the ball in December. Eagles get the nod. Cincinnati is playing lights out right now and Pittsburgh just can’t keep up. Big win for the Bengals. Oakland hasn’t won in Denver since 2011 and Manning is the key to that stat. The trend continues and the Raiders fall. The Jets will hold off the Titans looking to play spoiler and stay in the tightening race.

Standings after week 14:

Chiefs (7-6)

Steelers (7-6)

Jets (7-6)

Bills (6-7)

Raiders (6-7)

Week 15 – Chiefs at Ravens

The Ravens are a shell of their former selves this season. While I don’t think this will be an easy win on the road I do think that the Chiefs can get some turnovers and some rushing yards.

Chiefs 20, Ravens 14

Other key matchups: NYJ@DAL, DEN@PIT

Dallas will rise and conquer once Romo takes over again at quarterback. The Jets won’t have the ability to stop all of the weapons Dallas can unleash and drop this one on the road. Ben Roethlisberger is good but he is not good enough to beat the Broncos defense.

Standings after week 15:

Chiefs (8-6)

Steelers (7-7)

Bills (7-7)

Jets (7-7)

Raiders (6-8)
