Chiefs: They still don’t make sense
Back in offseason I wrote a post about how none of the media could agree what to make of the Kansas City Chiefs because they simply did not make sense.
I said that partly because of the ridiculous up and down trend that the Chiefs have been on for the past several years, and also because of the insane way last season turned out. I mean, a team who loses to the team with the No. 2 overall draft pick should not be beating both Super Bowl teams. Yet that is exactly what happened. It was sometimes harder to gauge whether the wins or the losses of 2014 were more inexplicable.
But that was last season. This year was going to be different. I mean, it had to be, right?
Nope. After five games of the 2015 season. . . and the Chiefs still don’t make much sense.

I know I have a bias towards K.C., but I will not say I “drank the Kool-Aid” about this season because it was a pretty reasonable assumption to think that they would be a better team. And better should be pretty darn good after how this team played against the league’s best last season while battling a plethora of injuries.
But once again our favorite team is unpredictable. Just look at the games thus far.
