Last week, I broke out my inaugural Arrowhead Addict picks and things went … alright. While there were some upsets I was not expecting, I was able to go 9-7. In the first week, I feel like that is a victory. Hopefully, I can get on a nice roll and start hammering out some 12-4 and 13-3 weeks in these NFL picks.

Of course, we start with one of the toughest games to pick throughout the league in this Week 2 slate. All lines are provided by OddsShark.

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs (-3)

This is a very, very good game. For years, I have never truly believed the Chiefs (1-0) were good enough to beat the Broncos (1-0). This year is different, although I can certainly see Denver winning. The reason it’s different is much more about Kansas City and the addition of Jeremy Maclin, along with the returns of Eric Berry, Derrick Johnson and Mike DeVito. It would not be surprising if this game is a classic.

Pick: Kansas City 16, Denver 14

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (EVEN)

This is going to be a really good game. Buffalo (1-0) has one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL and head coach Rex Ryan is a master at getting pressure on Tom Brady. New England (1-0) has had extra time to prepare for this game and will be force-feeding Rob Gronkowski. Can Tyrod Taylor do it again?

Pick: New England 24, Buffalo 23
