Wide Receiver

Starter(s): Jeremy Maclin, Albert Wilson, Jason Avant (slot)

Reserves: Chris Conley, De’Anthony Thomas (slot), Da’Rick Rogers, Junior Hemingway

Albert Wilson will see more action against zone-oriented secondaries, while Chris Conley will get more snaps versus those that favor man coverage. As the year progresses, don’t be surprised if the latter challenges for the starting job.

As a sophomore, Da’Rick Rogers’ production trumped that of Justin Hunter and Cordarrelle Patterson (as a junior). He’s far from “just another guy,” but he has to stay on the straight and narrow.

Virtually every wideout will split snaps in the slot to some extent, but Jason Avant and De’Anthony Thomas will be the two primary options.
