Kansas City Chiefs: first-year projections for the 2015 rookie class
By Brett Gering
D.J. Alexander
D.J. Alexander is the sleeper of the draft. He enters the league as a bit of a tweener, but if he packs on some pounds, the fifth-rounder is going to become a familiar name.
Film of Alexander is scarce, but in the few videos that exist, he stands out early and often. He moves well in space, and despite being undersized, he routinely plows through blockers like a 233-pound missile.
It might take a year or two for Alexander to adapt to the next level, but he oozes with playmaking potential.
2015 Projection: Valuable special teams contributor.
