Chiefs Impact: Medium

Now would be a good time to become a Bengals fan for a month. Over the next four weeks the Bengals play the Steelers twice, the Browns, and the Broncos. While a Denver loss doesn’t really mean as much to the Chiefs as it did a week ago, it’s still fun to watch the Donkeys lose.

The Steelers and Browns games, however, are very important. If the Bengals win-out, they essentially would have helped knock out both the Steelers and the Browns for the Chiefs. Pittsburgh would have seven losses on the season and five losses in the AFC even if they beat the Chiefs in two weeks. A Chiefs win against Pittsburgh with two Bengals wins would end the Steelers’ playoff hopes.

Cincinnati holds a game-and-a-half lead in the AFC North and it is best for the Chiefs if the Bengals just run away with the division. Not only because it would mean wins over the Browns and Steelers but it would also mean the wild card waters would be less murky.

The solution here is simple: Just keep winning, Cincinnati.

Who To Root For: Cincinnati Bengals.
