It was a cold Sunday night and when Denver RB C.J. Anderson bounced into the endzone to put the Broncos up 14-0 just 13 minutes into the ball game I knew it was pretty much over.
That didn’t stop me from shouting, chopping, swearing, singing, and hoping for two more hours, but that was all at least partially a strategy to keep warm.
While many Chiefs losses over the years seem to have left the fan base embittered and angry at a particular scapegoat, this loss was more troubling because it was a team loss. Everyone contributed.
Granted, not all did their equal share. If you’re going to point to what is wrong with this team, this is the order in which you should make your denunciations.
