Chase Ruttig is the editor over at FanSided’s Oakland Raiders blog, Just Blog Baby. He does tremendous work over there, especially since his team hasn’t had a winning season in over a decade. You’ve got to be one hell of a fan to go through the daily blogging grind for a team that has been as bad as the Raiders have been lately.

So now that you know that Ruttig is a good guy and a dedicated Raiders fan, here’s five questions I asked him leading up to tonight’s Chiefs-Raiders game.

1. Where do we begin with this? Oakland is 0-10 yet part of the Chiefs fan base is convinced this is a losable game. How much of this is much to do about nothing and how much is this a real opportunity for the Raiders to pick up win number one?

Oakland should have a few impressive wins under their resume at this point if you take a stroll down memory lane for this 0-10 team. A controversial Gabe Jackson hold prevented overtime in New England, poor defense in the fourth quarter caused the loss at home to the Chargers, two interceptions in the first half caused a potential upset in Seattle and poor offense caused losses against the Cardinals as well as the recent 13-6 loss in San Diego which is probably the reason Chiefs fans are concerned. That being said, I don’t think Kansas City fans should be overly worried about going into Oakland and losing because of the fact that this team has a decent list of injuries as well as their 0-10 record being created by not being able to play a full four quarters of football this season. The Chiefs are doing good things playing complete games with a balanced offense and a strong defense that isn’t going to run into the same problems getting first downs as the Chargers did on Sunday.
