TOUCHDOWN THREE: Travis Kelce, Week 5, At San Francisco
This is the famous ‘Ric Flair’ touchdown reception from Kelce.
Kelce is lined up in a bunch formation at the bottom of the screen, takes a step, makes the catch, and runs into the end zone. And then he “does a little dance” according to Phil Simmmmmmmms.
Kelce has spent a decent portion of the season lined up as a wide receiver, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that he has one of the ‘wide receiver’ touchdowns. As previously noted, Kelce was in the slot on Joe McKnight’s touchdown reception. I’d imagine he’ll have at least one more touchdown this season where he not in the traditional tight end spot on the field.
