The Edward Jones Dome is awful. Truly, truly awful.

It’s obnoxiously dark, always half empty, lacks any real personality (have you seen the ridiculous fan sections named after players? Sam’s Spirit Animals? What?), and perhaps most unforgivably, the stadium charges 8(!) dollars for an RC Cola. AN RC COLA.

Do you know how much RC Cola I could purchase for 8 dollars? Enough to swim in it.If you’re going to price gouge, at least have the dignity to charge me 8 dollars for a brand that can afford to produce commercials.

Since moving to St. Louis, I’ve been to the Edward Jones Dome three times, and each time I’m surprised again by how dark and depressing it is. I get it, it’s a dome, but it feels like a morgue. Add on top of that the fact that I most recently went to see the Rams play the Cowboys, and the crowd was overwhelmingly pro-Dallas. I can’t imagine ever seeing a sight like that in Arrowhead. I hope I never have too.

Also, it should be noted here that every single time I’ve seen a football game in St. Louis the tickets were given to me. People literally give these things away.
