1. The Chiefs’ Season Is Far From Over

Prior to Week 7, Kansas City’s opponents flaunted a 62.9 win percentage—a far cry from that of its next three opponents (35 percent).

Furthermore, the Chiefs have been the visitors in four of their six games. Two of their next three reside in the ear-bleeding madhouse known as Arrowhead.

All that being the case, it’s entirely possible that Kansas City could approach Week 11 with a 6-3 record.

Modern sports are a world shrouded with overreaction, which is why (some) onlookers wrote off the Chiefs’ playoff aspirations after Week 5.

After Week 6? A change in tone.

The ride hasn’t ended. If anything, after Week 7’s win, the reality appears to be just the opposite.
