4. Turnovers

The Chiefs have yet to force a turnover on defense after forcing 36 turnovers a season ago. Part of this is because the Chiefs defense was barely on the field in week two and because they were defending the run so much against Tennessee. Still, one would hope the Chiefs could find a way to get at least one take away from the last two games.

Tannehill has thrown an interception in each game so far this season and will be without the safety blanket of Knowshon Moreno in the backfield. That combination should be enough to generate one turnover one would hope.

Still, forcing turnovers is going to require someone to step up. Eric Berry is out with his sprained ankle, along with Derrick Johnson who is out for the season. This puts some pressure on a guy like Marcus Cooper, Sean Smith, and Husain Abdullah to make some plays. Those three will be charged with covering Mike Williams, Brian Hartline, and Charles Clay, three players that Cooper, Smith, and Abdullah should be able to run with. Getting pressure on the quarterback should provide some opportunities for Cooper, Smith, and Abdullah to pick off some passes.
