Q: How does it feel to be back at camp?

KUSH: “I already have a year on the books of the offensive work, what to expect here. It’s going to be a heck of a lot of fun this time around knowing what’s going on and just get after it.”

Q: Is there a comfort level since it is your second camp?

KUSH: “There’s still always a little anxiety getting back into it and everything, but I got a year in the books on the offense and everything. I’m just ready to play some football.”

Q: Have you been putting on weight this offseason?

KUSH: “We have a ‘fat arm Friday’ so we go in there and just kill the arms and everything. Somehow, someway that thing found its way onto Twitter and Facebook and stuff. I’ve been working. Haven’t put on too much weight, just converting a lot of body fat into muscle and working on that ratio. It’s been a lot of fun working this summer with (Anthony) Sherman, Jeff Allen and everything. Over the offseason it’s been great.”

Q: How will the chemistry be different this year?

KUSH: “We have a great chemistry here because the people and some of the older guys take you under their wing. As a rookie last year, I came in and my head was spinning. Stuff was happening so fast. They throw so much stuff at you. We’ve got a lot of great guys like Rodney (Hudson), B.A. (Branden Albert) last year, Jeff Allen. To us they’re older guys because they’ve been here longer than we have. They help you through it.  They’re surprisingly really helpful with younger guys, helping them with the offense and everything. We’re just here to work and keep playing football together.”

Q: With making the playoffs last year, how much excitement is there to get back to work?

KUSH: “There’s so much excitement of what happened last season and the shuffling around of players. We’ve got a new team and we’re going to see what this team can do and what we can do together.”
