If not Noy, then Attaochu would be the other candidate for the Chiefs to select on the second day of the draft. A second or third round projected pick, Attaochu is a 6-3, 252 pound outside linebacker who stood out as a pass rusher at the Senior Bowl. Kansas City has met with him.

He’s long, rangy, and has more athleticism than Noy. However he’s not as polished as Noy is coming out of college. He’s aggressive, plays with a little too much intensity and not enough intelligence, according to scouts. Basically, he’s a little too raw for some to be willing to take him in the first round.

The athleticism should be there though, so it will be interesting to see how much he is working with at the combine. Kansas City may be thinking about taking if him they can add a few picks to this year’s draft class, and especially if they trade down from number 23.
