In what is quickly turning into a weekly feature around here on Arrowhead Addict, there is yet another song lamenting the victories and success of the Kansas City Chiefs. This week’s piece comes to you courtesy of MR3 Music and local hip hop artist Mizznekol. **Chiefs Anthem** has the base line of the Chiefs’ Warchant “The Tomahawk Chop” but remixed with a fun, funky beat. The lyrics come quickly, and I really like Mizznekol’s style of spitting her rhymes quickly but succinctly.
The video is awesome, and like others of its kind is filmed in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium. The dancing in the video is top notch as is the music that accompanies the song.
My favorite lyric from the whole thing:
Heart beating like the drums in the band
All we need is two yards to advance
Listen up listen up for the chant
Kansas City Chiefs got the number one fans!
I said it last week when I posted Nicholas Grooms’ “Tradition: Hail to the Chiefs” video. I love that the Chiefs are doing well, because it’s been so long since we as fans have had something to cheer for in November. But, the fact that they’re doing so well brings out the creativity of Chiefs Kingdom is just icing on the cake.
