Will Sutton – 6’1 305lbs – Arizona State

Sutton had an extremely impressive year in 2012 and so far this year, has not lived up to the expectations. In 2012, Sutton had 63 tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, five passes broken up, 13 sacks, and three forced fumbles. It was these statistics that earned him 2012 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors. I find it hard to believe that a player simply forgot how to be successful. There is word that the senior may have put on some “bad weight” and lacks same explosion and quickness that allowed him to be dominate. Sutton will have to learn to excel with the added weight before the year is over if he wants his stock to rise in the draft. So far this year, Sutton has a lackluster 18 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and one sack. Around this same time last year, he had over 34 tackles, ten for a loss, and six sacks. I would expect Sutton to come off the board in the mid to late 2nd round.
