4th round pick by Cleveland in 2012

Johnson is another 4th round pick from 2012 that the Chiefs have signed. Out of Nevada, Johnson was an inside linebacker in college, but was listed as an outside linebacker by the Browns. Johnson did see some action last year for the Browns, playing in 10 games and starting 8 of them. He finished with 36 tackles. His scouting report out of college indicated that he was a good run stuffer, but lacked the change of direction needed to be good in pass coverage. Johnson was actually a player that I wanted KC to draft last season. At the time I thought he would make a good developmental run stopping ILB and a great special teams player. My guess is that is what KC signed him for, to replace the recently released Zac Diles. There are also multiple Youtube videos of Johnson from college if you care to give them a look.
