Brandon Carr is gone, and he isn’t coming back.
The CB the Chiefs drafted during the Herm Edwards era has left in free agency to get paid by the Dallas Cowboys. Carr was signed to a 5-year, $50.1 million deal.
Cortland Finnegan got $50 million. Looks like the Cowboys wanted to make Carr the highest paid CB of the offseason.
In comparison, the Chiefs re-signed Brandon Flowers to a six-year, $49.35 million contract.
As sad as I am to see him go, Carr deserves this. He earned a big payday. He has outplayed his contract his entire time with the Chiefs.
