The San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs are playing a game of musical rosters.
Yesterday the Chargers signed former Chiefs linebacker Demorrio Williams and now it looks as if the Chiefs might be interested in former Chargers defensive lineman Luis Castillo, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Castillo was released for salary cap reasons but it is being reported that the team would like to re-sign him.
Castillo is 6’3″ and 290 and plays DE. He was a first-round pick in 2005 and after a promising start to his career, his production has waned. He is only 28 and will turn 29 in August.
The Chiefs may be looking ahead, as Tyson Jackson and Glenn Dorsey are beginning to get very expensive.
