4. Kyle Orton

I was really impressed with Kyle Orton’s pocket presence last season. He seemed to have a much better ability to sit calmly in the pocket and read the entire field than Matt Cassel. He also threw a HORRIBLE interception against Oakland and had problems converting drives into TDs. I’m sure Orton would prefer to sign somewhere that the QB contest wouldn’t be biased toward the other guy like it will be toward Cassel in KC, but I would love to see Orton and Cassel in an honest QB competition and let the best man win. If nothing else, ensuring that we never EVER have to see Tyler Palko in a Chiefs uniform again warrants the number four spot on this list.
