Chiefs Nation: What Are You Thankful For?
The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-4 at Thanksgiving.
I am very thankful for that.
After three really tough years, our favorite football team is in the thick of it again! Yes, the Super Bowl is the ultimate goal but the Chiefs have given us a wonderful gift this season. It has been so long since I sat down to watch the NFL expecting, not hoping, that my team would win.
In the spirit of the day, let’s all record what we are thankful for this holiday season.
I’ll kick things off after the jump.
I am thankful for my wonderful family, friends and of course, Ms. AA.
I am thankful to have worked for Adam and Zach Best for these past 11 months.
I am thankful for Arrowhead Addict. It has made the past year an absolute blast.
I am thankful for my staff here at AA, who I’ve come to regard as friends in Chiefs Nation. Jeremy, Randy, Double D, Merlin, Big Matt and Robert, thank you! I couldn’t do this without you.
To our probationary staff members, Adam, Victor, Lyle and Nick, CONGRATULATIONS! You guys are official! Post away!
More after the jump.
I am thankful for Jamaal Charles. Boy is he fun to watch.
I am thankful for Matt Cassel. He has brought stability to our QB position.
I am thankful for the rookie draft class. What an awesome group of guys.
I am thankful for that Cameron Sheffield is OK after a scary injury in the preseason. Work hard kid and we’ll see you in training camp.
I am thankful for Jon McGraw. He is one of my favorite Chiefs of all time. Selfless and more talented than he is given credit for. What heart.
I am thankful for Brian Waters. What a warrior.
I am thankful for Barry Richardson. Way to step up!
I am thankful for Tamba Hali. You know why.
I am thankful for my friends at the Village Pour House who gather to watch the Chiefs with me every Sunday.
Lastly, I am thankful for my buddy Patrick, who took me to my first ever game at Arrowhead Stadium…the thrilling Monday Night victory over the Chargers in the rain. What a game!
What are you thankful for Addicts?
