Schefter: Steelers shopping Roethlisberger to Draft’s Top 10 teams.

It’d be a rumor I’d deny as pie-in-the-sky television hypothesizing if it came from any other ESPN figure. But here it is:

"Pittsburgh has begun contacting teams to trade Ben Roethlisberger for a top 10 pick. At least one team considering it. Story far from done."

Ugh. Is there any mystery who that “one team” is?

This news comes on the heels of the NFL announcing that Roethlisberger will be suspended anywhere from four to six games in the 2010 season. And the Steelers, as one can imagine, are done with character concerns.
