This has been heating up in the last couple of days and I can ignore it no longer.

"League sources indicated Oakland, Buffalo and Arizona as suitors for McNabb’s services. Several executives on other clubs pointed to the Raiders as the team in heaviest pursuit.McNabb has one year left on his deal, and any team acquiring him likely would want to sign him to an extension, but to some, it might not be imperative. McNabb has an offseason home in Arizona, while Oakland and Buffalo wouldn’t be as attractive to him, according to sources close to the player."

Various reports from all over the place are indicating that the Oakland Raiders are aggressive pursuing Eagles QB Donavon Mcnabb. Al Davis seems to be obsessed with Jamarcus Russel but he also loves flash and picking up McNabb would most certainly be a flashy move.
If this news doesn’t frighten you, it should. I know we all love to hate and make fun of the Raiders but the sad truth is, they have been better than the Chiefs recently. The standings have said so the last 2 years. They aren’t much better than the Chiefs but they have a lot of talent.
What really depresses me, is that the Raiders finished with a better record than the Chiefs 2 years in a row with Jamarcus playing QB! If they can win 5 games with Jamarcus they very well may be able to win 10 with McNabb. Maybe more.
I’m not kidding. I have been saying for a while that the Raiders were 1 competent QB away from being relevant. Well…don’t look now…
