This change at the top of the Chiefs offense is nothing like the first that fans experienced in what was just five short (but long) months ago.There won’t be any wholesale changes to the Chiefs offense. Everything that was implemented from August-thru-January under Todd Haley will remain at its core under Weis.I think this is excellent news Chiefs fans. The most important thing here is continuity. The face that the base playbook will stay the same is fantastic news. This gives the offense to continue to build on what they have been learning rather than start over. This, coupled with Todd Haley now having more time to focus on his head coaching responsibilities, should be of great value to the team next season.There is sure to be more news coming and likely a press conference.
