NFL Draft 2017: A complete list of Kansas City Chiefs selections

Here’s a look at the choices the Kansas City Chiefs have left as the team heads into Day 3 of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The 2017 NFL Draft is the first year that teams can trade compensatory picks as well as the original picks provided to them in each and every round. This means that Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey has more assets than ever to use at he wishes, to move up and down the trade board.

Just last year, Dorsey picked up more and more assets in the 2016 draft by trading down twice. The first time, he picked up additional picks in the 4th and 6th rounds by trading out of the first round, down 9 slots total, with the San Francisco 49ers. Then again in the second round, he picked up an extra fourth round pick from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by trading back into the third.

Given even more picks to deal with, Dorsey is likely to wheel and deal more than ever. At things stand now, the Chiefs have 10 total picks. They should have 11 but they were docked their original sixth round choice in this year’s draft as well as a third round pick in last year’s draft for the alleged tampering incident with Jeremy Maclin before signing the former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver.
