The Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons are two of the team’s checking out a late round running back option in Brian Hill.
Brian Hill had an uphill climb jumping from Wyoming to the NFL, but he’s definitely turning heads of pro scouts in the run up to the 2017 NFL Draft. Not only does he have visits scheduled with the Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings, but other teams like the Denver Broncos have previously shown interest at the NFL Combine.

Last season, Hill carried the Wyoming offense with 349 carries for 1,860 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns, good for a 5.3 yards/carry average. The previous season was almost as prolific for Hill, with 281 rushes for 1,631 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns. This season, Hill was much more focused as a runner and used less as a passing option out of the backfield with only 8 catches for 67 receiving yards in 2016.
Hill was among the stars at running back in the broad jump (125 inches, fourth overall) and the 60-yard shuttle (11.29 seconds, second overall behind Christian McCaffrey). He also ran a 4.54 second 40-yard dash.
CBS Sports projects Hill as a potential 4th or 5th round pick, listing him at No. 14 overall among running backs, just above Pittsburgh’s James Conner.
