It’s already week three in the 2016 NFL season and the hot and cold Kansas City Chiefs already need to bounce back?

Normally the Kansas City Chiefs, are not known for the big come back. They are a team designed to get a couple scores ahead of their opponent, and rest on their fierce defense to win the game. However, week one showed us that both the offense and defense can recover from a bad three quarters to take back the game; in an impressive fashion.

Week 2 Kansas City Chiefs were not the same as the week one team. They looked out of sync, out matched, and very out played. So what happened? Were the Houston Texans really the better team out on the field? Well, according to the score board yes. In an uninspiring game the Chiefs fell to Houston, bring their record to 1-1 on the year.

So with the New York Jets coming to town this weekend what does the team need to do to bounce back?

First and foremost there needs to be some direction for where both the offense and defense needs to go. Andy Reid is not a bad coach, though he could work on clock management. He has had probably the best offense he has had since joining the team, so use them. Plan the long game out, yes there will be changes here and there as you go, but have an identity to the team.

We run hard with running backs like Spencer Ware, and Charcandrick West. Now throw in the always explosive Jamaal Charles back in the mix and there is a lot we can do. Plan out what the offense needs to be for the game and stick with it.
