Good morning, Addicts! We are in the midst of the offseason doldrums, with nothing really going on except the nervousness or silence. We all want to hear something about Eric Berry signing a long-term deal or Dontari Poe getting that shocking extension.

Yet, we are waiting instead for training camp. It feels like camp is so far away and actually, it is barely over a month. Come July 30, the Kansas City Chiefs will be back in the facilities at St. Joe’s and a few days later, the pads will be cracking.

In the meantime, Kansas City will have to wait and talk among itself about how great this season could be.

Here is the news you need to know…

LeBron ran faster than Jamaal Charles on The BlockJoel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"That would be The Block from LeBron James in the Cavs 2016 NBA Finals win over the Golden State Warriors. Watching that game it was clear as it was happening that The Block would be one of the most memorable plays of all-time."

Who is the third tight end? The fourth tight end?Joel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"The same goes for tight end. Before the last round of OTAs, I figured there were four tight ends competing for three spots. Now after reading some offseason reports, I wonder if all five Chiefs tight ends have a legit shot at making the 53-man roster. The Chiefs won’t keep all five but could they keep four?"

Mailbag: Setting the table for Chiefs training campHerbie Teope of Chiefs Digest and the Topeka Capital-Journal

"Tyler Bray took the majority of No. 2 snaps in organized team activities (OTAs) and the three-day mandatory minicamp, but the battle between Bray, Aaron Murray and rookie Kevin Hogan is far from settled."
