Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher is bigger than ever.

Even the most ardent critic of Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher would admit that he turned a corner in 2015. How big of a corner is up for debate, but Fisher was noticeably getting beat much less and starting to impose his will at times.

Apparently, his will is going to be larger than ever in 2016, with Fisher telling local media in Tuesday that he now weighs 320 pounds.

This has to make Alex Smith feel warm and fuzzy inside. Smith has taken a beating over the past two seasons, but finally has a legitimate offensive line in front of him with Fisher, Mitch Schwartz and Mitch Morse.

Fisher has seen huge expectations since being drafted first-overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. He finally looks to be fulfilling those hopes, something many didn’t think would happen after a rough first two seasons.

The Chiefs apparently believe in Fisher, picking up his $11 million option for 2017 back on May 2. With Fisher getting bigger, you have to believe it makes him more of a force in both pass and run blocking.
