Good morning, Addicts! What day is it? HUMPPPPPPPP DAY!

The Kansas City Chiefs are a week away from their first full-team OTA, with the notable exceptions expected to be both safety Eric Berry, running back Jamaal Charles and outside linebacker Justin Houston. Hopefully the Chiefs can get some quality work in and go home without any injuries.

The most intriguing part of the whole process is to find out where the rookies will fit on the opening depth chart. When Kansas City goes to a nickel look, who is the slot and who is on the outside with Phillip Gaines still recovering from a torn ACL?

Here is the news you need to know…

Who are Kansas City’s most irreplaceable players?Joel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride

"He is so hard to replace because not many 340 pound nose tackles play as many snaps as he does. In this day and age of subpackages, Poe doesn’t have to come off the field. That’s tough to replace, even if the Chiefs just spent a first round pick on a defensive lineman and signed one in free agency too."

Chiefs sign Murray, Hill to contractsTerez Paylor of the Kansas City Star

"The Chiefs are obviously high on Hill’s return ability. He blazed a 4.25-second 40-yard dash at his pro day in March, and Ryne Nutt — the Chiefs’ southeast scout — said he’s the most dynamic returner he’s seen in his seven years of scouting, adding that the Chiefs’ special teams coach Dave Toub compared Hill’s skills to ace returner Devin Hester’s."

Top 10 Alex Smith touchdown recipientsLeigh Oleszczak of KC Kingdom

"Before we get to the list, there were several recipients who tied the number of touchdowns that Smith had thrown to them, so they’ll be listed on the same slide. So all in all, there are technically 11 guys on this list due to some of the ties that stand."
