The Kansas City Chiefs are riding a hot streak of wins at the exact right moment in the 2015 season. KC started the season with a “bad” streak of losing four games in a row, after an opening weekend win against the Houston Texans. The Chiefs after yet another loss to the Minnesota Vikings started to slowly turn things around.
KC beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in front of the home crowd of Arrowhead Stadium to the tune of 23-16, which was the catalyst to their current hot streak. KC has now won seven games in a row, and is in full control of their destiny, in terms of making it to the playoffs. Their current record of 8-5 is good for the 5th seed in the AFC Playoff race, which almost seemed impossible at the beginning of the year.
Kansas City most recently fought a broken San Diego Chargers team on a cold rainy day in Arrowhead, escaping the grip of defeat to win the game 10-3. With the playoffs edging ever closer, the Chiefs have the opportunity to actually win out the remainder of the 2015 season. The last three remaining games have a combined record 13-26.
This week’s opponent is the woefully disappointing Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens were thought to be a contender this year but have completely fallen apart and will be looking for a high pick in the 2016 NFL draft.
The game is completely winnable for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Ravens are a team on the decline and the Chiefs have been on the rise for seven weeks now. However; this game could be rather close for the Chiefs as they continue towards the post season. Let’s look at two keys to victory for Kansas City, in order to keep the streak alive.
