Each year, NFL Network produces a show throughout the offseason which sees the current players voting on the best 100 players from the previous campaign. It’s a great watch, because you get an idea of what the men in the trenches think about the men on your team.

This year, the show is entitled Top 100 Players of 2015 and throughout selections 100-71, there had been no Kansas City Chiefs on the list. On Wednesday night, the latest episode came out and we saw not one, but two Chiefs so honored. Tamba Hali made the list at No. 70, while Jeremy Maclin checked in at No. 61. For Hali, he has been on the list many times before, while this is the first appearance for Maclin.

It’s nice to see what opposing players have to say about your guys. Frankly, I was a bit surprised to a see Hali on this list after he amassed only six sacks in 2014, but that just shows the respect he has around the league. Despite only getting a few sacks, Hali still disrupts the game with constant pressure and relentless hustle.

For Maclin, this is a nice step for the 26-year-old. After looking like he was about to break out following a solid 2012 season, Maclin tore his ACL in 2013 training camp and was done for the season. Betting on himself, Maclin signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for 2014 and went off, compiling over 1,300 receiving yards. Of course, Kansas City allowed Maclin to cash in with a five-year, $55 million pact.

So, how many Chiefs end up on this list? It is a very safe bet that Jamaal Charles and Justin Houston are on there, but is anyone else? Personally, I believe Sean Smith and Dontari Poe should be, and I’ll wager that Poe finds his way on the list.
