Tamba Hali is pumped to play with Justin Houston

Tamba Hali is fantastic, both on the field and across social media platforms. The 31-year-old loves to jump on Twitter and Instagram with the same fervor of sacking quarterbacks. On Friday, our lovable Liberian gave Justin Houston some love, pumping up the fan base in the process with his typical all caps style.

"I MISS MY DAWG EVERYDAY. BEST OLB IN THE LEAGUE @jhouston50 #SACKCITYCENTRAL #SACKTITLE #SACKCITY #SACKKING #SACKKINGDOM #THISOURYEAR #RELUMAERECORDS @kcchiefs"

Hali also posted something late on Thursday night, which appears to be in some sort of training facility. Whether or not it is Kansas City is uncertain, but Hali is clearly not resting on his laurels.

"ANOTHER HARD DAY AT THE JOB. #HUNTINGSEASONISAPPROACHING. #RELUMAERECORDS @kcchiefs @gillie_da_kid @prince_talib @tariklowe @tonetone11 #SWEATMONSTER"

Hali is a passionate man. It is apparent in the way he plays and how he trains during the offseason. Hali has been vocal all year about needing to remain a part of the Kansas City Chiefs, something he did by taking a $7 million pay cut in 2015.

With Hali and Houston coming off the edge, and Derrick Johnson and Mike DeVito returning to play alongside Dontari Poe and Allen Baliey, the Chiefs have the best front seven in the NFL. Considering the defense ranked second in points allowed last year and seventh in yardage, it stands to reason we should be looking at a top-five unit. Most importantly, no starters left via free agency after Ron Parker was retained on a five-year contract.

Kansas City’s offseason conditioning program begins on April 20, although it appears Hali already has a jump on that. Only 10 days later, the 2015 NFL Draft begins, and then it really feels like a new season is upon us.
