The Kansas City Chiefs find their 2014 season winding down, which means that they will either reach the postseason again or be left behind.

The Chiefs are very much in control of their own destiny, as all the scenarios have them en route to postseason glory, but only if they can win out.

The three-game losing streak has not sunk the ship yet, as the Chiefs got back to their winning ways against the Oakland Raiders. Kansas City was able to effectively move the ball throughout the second half, and the defense continued its lights-out play. The remainder of the schedule has the Chiefs heading to the “Steel City” to face the Pittsburgh Steelers before finishing the season up at home against San Diego.

If Kansas City wins out, it will get into the playoffs regardless of how the rest of the AFC pans out. However, the first thing the Chiefs need to do is get past the explosive Steelers. There are three keys to Kansas City’s Week 16 matchup.
