Do The Chiefs Play The Five Best Teams In The NFL This Year? [Video]

We already know the Chiefs have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. But if Boomer Esiason’s rankings are correct, the Chiefs will play the top five teams in the NFL this season.

Things were going to be tough playing the four Championship game teams from a year ago – San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, and New England. But Boomer’s suggestion for the fifth best team in the NFL would mean the Chiefs schedule may be a little more difficult than previously thought.

Yes, things can change very quickly. Who would have expected we would have played so many backup quarterbacks in a row last season? Injuries, suspensions, a decrease in quality of play, all of those things can change the landscape of the 2014 schedule for any team. But it is quickly becoming clear the Chiefs are going to need a break or two if they want to return to the playoffs.
