The Kansas City Chiefs are sending eight players to the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl.

That is, of course, unless they qualify for the Super Bowl.

The NFL announced the 2014 Pro Bowl players last night and the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are sending more players than any other team, with eight each.

Here are the players that will represent the Chiefs:

LT Branden Albert

RB Jamaal Charles

PR Dexter Cluster

CB Brandon Flowers

OLB Justin Houston

SS Eric Berry

DT Dontari Poe

OLB Tamba Hali

This is a pretty impressive list. The major snub here is MLB Derrick Johnson. I’d say the big surprise is Brandon Flowers who, in my opinion, is having his worst season as a Chief.

Everyone else is pretty deserving of the honor. QB Alex Smith has played well but his numbers don’t quite match those of the other QBs selected.

Don’t be surprised if more Chiefs are added to this list if the team doesn’t make it to the Super Bowl. There could very well be some KC players that are currently slotted as alternates, including Johnson and Smith.

What do you think, Addicts? Did the voters get it right?
