Chiefs vs. Chargers: Inactives and Injuries

The San Diego Chargers are on deck to face the Kansas City Chiefs at noon in Arrowhead Stadium. Both teams have released their “inactive” player lists.

The Chiefs are going to have their hands full today with losing three starters. Geoff Schwartz will step in to replace the injured Asamoah and Donald Stephenson will backup the injured Fisher. This could be interesting as many people have called for a change up in the line. Although switching things up because of injury in Week 12 probably isn’t what most people had in mind. Really thought, there aren’t many surprises here.
On the Chargers front, there aren’t many surprises either.
Bottom line, the Chiefs reserve linemen are really going to have to step up on both sides of the ball. Alex Smith hasn’t gotten much protection on the right side of the line all season to this point. Playing with two back ups on the same side could prove to be difficult. The Chargers don’t present a huge pass rush threat, but it’s there.
