The Kansas City Chiefs are on a hot streak in the NFL, remaining one of only two unbeaten teams left in the NFL, one of which is the Denver Broncos.

As the Chiefs prepare for the incoming Houston Texans, both teams have some key injuries that could effect the game this Sunday.

Injuries for the Kansas City Chiefs

For the Kansas City Chiefs both cornerback Brandon Flowers, and tight end Anthony Fasano are still working through their injuries. Also left tackle Branden Albert went down twice during last Sunday’s game against the Raiders. Both Flowers and Fasano were limited in practice today, while Albert fully participated during today’s practice. For Albert, his start is more likely against the Texans than Flowers and Fasano who are both experiencing knee issues. The Chiefs will continue to monitor the progress of Fasano and Flowers and it is possible one or both could be back in the game Sunday.

Injuries for the Houston Texans

The biggest injury for the Texans is Matt Schaub who went down during their game with an ankle injury. Backup TJ Yates came in the game and did not finish the game strong. The Texans will also be without Danieal Manning who was recently put on injured reserve for the season leaving the Texan secondary thin for Sunday.

Both the Texans and the Chiefs have some injured players and while it looks like things might start to get better for the Chiefs. The Texans;however, seem to be hit with the injury bug lately and will be without some key starters for their upcoming bout with the Chiefs.
