The Kansas City Chiefs dropped game No. 2 of the 2013 preseason to the San Francisco 49ers, 15-13.

Some facets of the Chiefs’ game were encouraging (See: Special Teams/Knile Davis) and others, were just downright bad (See: Jon Baldwin/Pass Protection).

We here at Arrowhead Addict pride ourselves on bringing you the best Chiefs’ analysis and opinion possible, but in an effort to give the Addicts a voice, we reached out on Twitter to ask you your thoughts on the game.

Here’s what you had to say:

Chris Holly thinks that emotions got the best of Alex Smith last night:

Brendan Roberts is looking on the bright side:

That’s a pretty good attitude to take for the preseason. While there were things to worry about, the defense and special teams looks great right now.

And here we go with the Jon Baldwin hate:

Frankly, it’s tough to defend No. 89. He was targeted three times and came away with zero receptions last night.

Ryan Mumma blames the offensive line for the Chiefs’ bad offensive showing:

Words of wisdom right here:

I said the same thing last night in one of my recaps. Need to score when you’ve got a short field to work with.

So, we’ve got Alex Smith aka “Captain Checkdown” and now a new nickname for the team:

Hopefully the name doesn’t stick.

Finally, more people piling on Baldwin:

Looks like Mr. Baldwin isn’t the most popular player in Chiefs Kingdom right now.
