The 2013 NFL Schedule will be released Thursday, April 18th at 8 p.m. eastern time.

It was thought the schedule would come out this evening but the NFL shot that idea down because they needed more time to sort everything out.

Because of the way the NFL schedule is determined, we already know which teams the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing, we just don’t know what order they will play them in. We also don’t know when the games will be and which ones, if any besides the guaranteed Thursday night game, will be in primetime.

Here is the list of opponents:

Home: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns

Away: Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills

It is hard to say this is an easy or difficult slate of teams considering the Chiefs were so bad last year they could barely beat anyone.

If we look at it with the notion that KC will be greatly improved, say a team that has a shot at 9-7 or 10-6, then I would say this is a pretty average NFL schedule. Not too hard or too easy.

Games against the Broncos (X2), Texans, Redskins, Colts and Cowboys could all be pretty tough. The Chiefs seem to play the Bills every year and no matter how bad Buffalo is, KC seems to always lose to them.

What do you think, Addicts? Will KC get any extra primetime games?
