The 2013 Kansas City Chiefs Draft Party!

When it comes to sports, I love to be there live.

Sitting in front of the tube scarfing beer and chips isn’t my favorite way to watch the action.

Sure live sports action can be a pain in the butt.

I’ve been at some of the hottest Kansas City Chiefs games on record, and I’ve shivered in the coldest.

Your Arrowhead Adventurer has suffered through drenching rain, and tornadic conditions in the greatest NFL stadium in the world.

Not to mention the equitorial Africa hot training camps that I’ve dutifully texted updates to Patrick from.

But not just football.

I’ve braved hostile fans at Lambeau, unbelievably cold winds at Soldier field, and the numbingly boring atmosphere of the Edward E Jones Dome in St. Louis.

But as loyal readers of my post know, there ain’t nothing like watching the good old NFL draft in front of gigantic television screens at the good old Kansas City Chief draft party at Arrowhead.

The last couple of years, though the event has gotten better, the access to the public has gotten worse.

Now you have to be a season ticket holder.

And even a small percentage of us lucky folk get them, you have to be pretty quick when you get the email alert.

But fear not.

Many season ticket holders download them and then get busy and well the unused tickets kind of just sit there.

Waiting for you to find it.

So think hard my friends.

Track one down.

And until then stay tuned to Arrowhead Adventures for weekly updates as your professional draft party attender gets them.

See you there!
