ESPN NFL Offseason Power Rankings: Chiefs Moving Up has released their very popular offseason Power Rankings, following the initial burst of free agency.

A lot of players have changed teams and the NFL looks a lot different today than it did a few weeks ago.

The Chiefs made a big jump in the rankings, moving all the way from dead last at #32 to #24. That is what winning the offseason will get you. The Chiefs have a new GM, new head coach, new QB, new coordinators and a slew of other new players. On paper, at least, the Chiefs are better.

Thankfully, KC is not the worst-ranked AFC West team. The Oakland Raiders hold that distinction, coming in at #30.

KC is also close to catching another AFC West foe. The San Diego Chargers are only one spot above the Chiefs at #23. The Chargers have gone through some changes too this offseason so it will be interesting to see how they do in 2013.

And of course (vomits) the Denver Broncos are the #1 ranked team in the AFC West and one of the top-ranked teams in all of football. Peyton Manning and his stupid forehead come in at #3, trailing only the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.

Interestingly, the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens are all the way down at #8, in the wake of losing a number of key players.

What do you think, Addicts? Do the Chiefs deserve the bump or should they remain the worst team in the NFL until they prove otherwise on the field?

Like I said, “Forehead like a drive-in movie screen.”

hopefully we can all watch the chiefs 2013 highlights on it !!!

I think the Chiefs could have made almost any hires at all and moved up from where they were. The only way they stayed there is if they didn’t change the guard. They deserve a bump for sure. I will be much more interested in the rankings after the first couple games.

Yeah with six pro bowlers I mean HELLO

I wonder how the Chiefs aren’t in front of San Diego tbh. They don’t have an offensive line last I checked. They can’t even field a team at the moment…

Love it Patrick! I always call him Peyton mile high forehead Manning, your my kind of cat! Can’t stand the guy anyway, the only reason I rooted for Colts to win SB when they played the Bears was for Dungy- a guy who got fired after building Grudens championship Bucs!

That stupid forehead is so great I can’t seem to stop laughing out loud. Thank God I am by myself. That is your best ever Paddy! In answer to your question I absolutely think the Chiefs deserve their improved ranking and I suspect by the time the draft is over with that we move up some more passing SD.

woohoo…..we’re 24th….we’re 24th. I absolutely think they’ll do better than 24th. Even with the same personnel but with the new coaching staff they would have been better. I want the Raiders to be horrible but I don’t want them to be so bad they’re drafting in the top 2 next year.

It’s too early to come out with power rankings. Many teams will be COMPLETELY different than last year and there are always those that underperform and overperform. Plus there is a large variable in the NFL – Injuries.
