The team will likely announce the move today…after they cut somebody.

As always, adding a player means somebody has to go. That means someone is either getting cut or there is an injured player heading to injured reserve.

The fact that Kehl is a linebacker could be telling. All the KC linebackers are relatively healthy, so far as we know, but there is a chance that someone from that position group will be the one to be cut. Kehl has played MLB and OLB.

My money would be on either Cory Greenwood or Edgar Jones. Greenwood came in briefly or Derrick Johnson at the end of Sunday’s game and he did not look good.

As for Kehl, he’s a bit of a journeyman. He was drafted in the foutth round of the 2008 draft by the Giants. He got cut by NY in 2010 and was picked up by the Rams.Kehl actually graded pretty well for St. Louis in 2010. Pro Football Focus gave him +3.9 grade on the season for his 212 snaps. The Rams hardly used him in 2011 and he only saw action in five games. He then got picked up by the Redskins last offseason and was moved to ILB for their 4-3 defense. He was released in the last round of cuts.

What do you think, Addicts? Who is going to get the axe.
