10 Chiefs Will Be Limited In Practice Today

The Chiefs have announced that 10, count em’, 10 players will be limited and not partake in practice today.

Here is the damage:

Kevin Boss, Jake O’Connell, Ryan Lilja, Devon Wylie, Allen Bailey, Jalil Brown, Kendrick Lewis, Steve Breaston, Anthony Toribio, Dexter McCluster.

Yikes.

Bailey, Lewis and Toribio have been banged up for a while. They were all limited last week and were out for the game.

Wylie had a hamstring injury and did not practice at all, even in a limited way, all of last week.

Brown was limited early in the week, then participated fully the last two days of practice but did not play.

The new injuries are Boss, O’Connell, Breaston, Lilja and McCluster. We know Boss almost got his head ripped off last week so it is no surprise he isn’t practicing. As for the others, no word yet on what is wrong with them.

The Chiefs also noted that they would not be in pads today because some folks are banged up. Keeping some of these guys limited today, a day when they aren’t in pads, is hopefully just a precaution to give them some extra rest.

We’ll know more about the ailments when the Chiefs release the official injury report later today.
